Signal is Back: Signal Season 2 Set to Air on November 30th

Mark your calendars, Signal is set to make its return in November, 10 years after the first season aired on tvN.
tvN announced the drama will return on November 30th and will air on Mondays and Tuesdays until December 22nd, with a total of 8 episodes.
The series was due to be released earlier this year, but was delayed due to scrutiny regarding one of the leads of the drama, Cho Jin Woong, who plays Lee Jae-han, a detective who communicates with Park Hae-young to solve cases in the modern day despite being from the 1990s.
The delay follows past allegations related to Cho Jin Woong's juvenile record. Several months ago, reports surfaced with allegations of serious offenses committed in his teenage years. His agency, Saram Entertainment, previously acknowledged this was true, while emphasizing that the incidents occurred more than 30 years ago and that the matter had been dealt with according to legal proceedings.
Cho Jin Woong issued a public apology and announced his retirement from acting following this controversy.
Despite the challenges, the second season of Signal is still moving forward with all of the original cast, including Cho Jin Woong, Lee Je-hoon, and Kim Hye-soo.
The original series followed Park Hae-young (Lee Je-hoon), a criminal profiler who finds a mysterious discarded walkie-talkie. Detective Jae-han (Cho Jin-woong), from the past, is able to communicate with him through the device. They work together to solve a 15-year-old kidnapping and murder case involving a former classmate from his childhood, then continue solving other cases with Detective Cha Soo-hyun (Kim Hye-soo), while trying to keep history as unchanged as possible.
Fans have been waiting patiently for a second season of Signal since it was announced several years ago. Will you be tuning in for season 2?
