BTS Arirang World Tour – What to Expect

Written by Maddie F. (Mar 20th, 2026)

BTS are back and will soon be embarking on their first world tour since 2019. A lot has changed for BTS since then, so what can you expect from this tour?

The Music

BTS' last full album release was in 2020 with BE, which included tracks such as Life Goes On and Dynamite. BTS will be releasing a new album in March 2026 entitled Arirang, also the title of their world tour.

Expect to hear lots from their new album, as well as their greatest hits (think Butter, Boy With Luv, etc.).

But the BTS members have also all had solo releases since their last album, with some members going on solo tours previously, such as J-Hope and Suga. It wouldn't be a surprise if these songs are also featured in the tour, with short sections for each member to showcase their solo work.

The Visuals

BTS fill the stage with their members alone, with choreographed dance routines throughout the whole show. However, BTS know how to put on a grand performance, so expect fireworks, props, lights, smoke, videos and more.

This tour has been years in the making, so expect the unexpected and prepare to be blown away.

The Crowd

BTS have a loyal fanbase, referred to as ARMY. Fans love to go all out for their shows in the following ways:

  • Outfits – many fans wear themed clothing based on their favourite member, album, song and more. Some dress in the same outfits as the members, while others rework the style to suit themselves. Expect people to dress their best and boldest for the show.
  • Fan chants – in Korea, fan chants are very common. They are chants that fans learn to go along with a song, which can include which parts to sing along to, or which parts to shout out members' names and cheer. When all done together, it is a loud declaration of the fans' love for the group.
  • Light sticks – each K-POP group has a light stick to represent them, with BTS' being called an Army Bomb. Fans use these light sticks to cheer and dance along to the songs. These light sticks connect at the stadium via Bluetooth, and change colour depending on the song. When the whole stadium is filled with the lights, it makes for an amazing show on its own.

Now you know a little more about what to expect from the upcoming BTS concert – expect to be absolutely blown away.
