About aespa

aespa is a South Korean girl group formed by SM Entertainment. They debuted on November 17, 2020 with the single "Black Mamba," introducing a futuristic concept blending real members with virtual avatars in the fictional universe "KWANGYA."

The group consists of four members:

  • Karina (leader)
  • Winter
  • Giselle
  • Ningning

After debut, aespa quickly rose to global prominence with hits like "Next Level" and "Savage." They continued with releases such as "Spicy" and "Drama," earning recognition for bold concepts, experimental production, and strong global fan support.

While the group has moved slightly away from the AI counterpart storyline, they have kept their futuristic and electronic title-track sound. Their next comeback, Lemonade, is scheduled for May 29, and they are also set to perform at Lollapalooza in August.
